Diane E. Breidenstein
Diane Breidenstein is a business and management consultant with over 30 years of business experience. Her career includes holding senior level positions with HCA, a fortune 100 company, as well as co-founding and selling a successful start-up.
Diane has worked with senior level executives and leaders in a variety of industries and nonprofit organizations, including technology, financial services, energy, professional services, manufacturing and healthcare. As an executive coach, she is passionate about helping leaders accelerate their skill development, build high performing teams, and increase organizational capacity. She is highly regarded for her ability to help leaders solve complex organizational problems and remain focused in difficult situations. She has expertise in increasing personal effectiveness through style and relationship management, influencing, and self-management. Diane also works in the areas of strategic thinking, building accountability, executive presence, and managing change.
Her business background, direct approach and experience in leading executive teams enables her to make the consulting process practical and outcome focused. Her coaching and facilitation skills, along with a collaborative style contribute to her demonstrated ability to assess problems, design solutions, and help leaders improve individual and company success. Her approach balances the needs of the client with the realities of the organization’s culture, expectations, and marketplace.

Diane received her MHA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. She is certified in a number of coaching, business planning and assessment tools.
Barbara J. Kreisman, PhD
Barbara is often considered by others as a ‘doctor of people at work’. She has an innate ability to listen to a person’s concerns about their career—whether the issues pertain to leadership, team dynamics, reorganizations, perceived discrimination or self-initiated job change--and is able to provide perspective and counsel.
Barbara’s background transcends more than 30 years in the field of Leadership, Organizational Development and Strategic Planning. She has worked for a variety of notable companies in a fulltime or consulting capacity. She began her career in the blue-collar pulp and paper environment of Northern Wisconsin, and over the years transitioned to senior roles within Motorola, Emerson Electric (Fisher Controls, Int.) and later Dell Technologies which she joined as a start-up organization.
Within each of the above companies, Barbara was involved with numerous corporate initiatives (leadership & competency development, strategic planning, global/and cross-cultural related issues, organizational resource planning, staffing, employee development and retention). In July of 2019 she was named Professor Emerita within the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver where she had been Associate Dean and Professor of Practice responsible for all Working Professionals academic and non-credit Executive Education programs, including DU’s highly ranked Executive MBA program.
Her academic achievements consist of a Ph.D. in Leadership & Organizational Behavior from the University of Texas at Austin. She has a master’s degree in human resource development from the University of Texas and a second interdisciplinary graduate degree from Arizona State University.
Barbara is now heavily engaged with the non-profit community and serves as Board Chair for Wish of a Lifetime (Jeremy Bloom, Founder), is a Board Member of the Urban Leadership Foundation, is a Trustee of the University of Wisconsin and is on the Advisory Board for DU’s Graduate School of Social Work. She and her two Golden Retrievers are certified Hospice care givers.

Prior to moving into academia and consulting, Scott spent over 25 years in industry and has a diverse professional background. He held senior executive roles with two large global companies (Fisher Controls and Emerson Electric) and a high-tech start-up that was sold to Oracle. He has functional experience in General Management, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Systems Engineering and Sales Management. Scott has extensive global experience, having lived in Singapore for 5 years and been actively involved in business and education throughout the world.
Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors of HSS, Inc., Hyder Construction, Inc. and the Denver Children's Home (Past President). He is also on Advisory Boards for several start-ups.
Scott has degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainbleau, France and the “Leaders of the 21st Century” program at the Aspen Institute. Scott is certified in several leadership assessment and psychometric instruments and is a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute.
Andrew C. Sekel, PhD
Andrew Sekel, Ph.D. is a senior health care executive, consultant and investor with over 30 years of experience. As chief executive officer of specialty networks for Optum, he oversaw behavioral health, complex medical conditions, and physical health services that improved the overall health and well-being of individuals in the employer and health plan markets, as well as beneficiaries in Medicaid, Medicare, and other local, state and federal programs. These services included comprehensive management of mental health and substance abuse care, support for evidence-based treatment decisions, development of “Centers of Excellence” networks that provide access to clinically superior care for people with complex medical conditions, and musculoskeletal support services.
Dr. Sekel has extensive experience in both the commercial and public sector health care markets. Prior to assuming his role with Optum, he was vice president of business development for the specialty division of Centene Corporation in St. Louis, MO. Previously, he co-founded and led several behavioral health management companies in Texas and California, including Group Practice Affiliates, Integrated Mental Health, and Tejas Behavioral Health Services. As a leader of these companies, Dr. Sekel created integrated health care programs, processes and initiatives that provided the highest quality care for patients.
Dr. Sekel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, Master of Education degree in special education and Doctor of Philosophy degree in counseling psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
